Me, Zander, Fraz, Shev, Mat & David went to Knockhill tonight to watch the stock car racing. It was really as a trip for Zander's 21st (tomorrow!) and it was such a fun night.
Lots of bumps, crahes and excitement! I've posted some pics over on flickr but only the ones of the people there. For pictures of the action you'll need to wait on Fraz & Shev to get posting!
So I found this flickr group 'Camera Toss' where people throw their cameras in the air the get cool pictures. Some of the pictures are brilliant, others are ok.
1) Does anyone have any Christmas DVDs I can take to Zambia with me? I'm especially looking for: a) It's a wonderful life b) White Christmas c) Driving Home for Christmas d) Miracle on 34th Street
2) Can everyone write a card for Babs and pass it to me by next weekend? I think it would be nice if she had lots of cards to open on Christmas day.
I just got prezzies from the International Officers for going away! I didn't know a thing about it so it was quite a surprise. I got the worst case scenario 'travel' book (the one I bought for Colin last year), a funky christmas pen for writing in my travel journal and $100.00 :-) man, that's so nice of them. Think I'm gonna weep.
I'm dead today. I've not been to bed before 2am all week so averaging 4-5 hours a night is just not enough. Weird thing is, my skin goes really funny when I've not had enough sleep. Fortunatley I've just got the kids meeting tonight as there's no 2nd half and I'm not involved with the play rehersals (praise God!!).
Poor Beesley is still sick and has cabin fever. I have plans to break him out of his prison tomorrow at some point though!
You know the black cart river beside the M8 near the airport? we'll Ive been watching it for a few days - it was getting dangerously close to bursting and today I noted with glee that it has burst it's banks! hurrah! Shev would be excited.

Man, it really doesn't seem like a year since the London bombings. I remember vividly being in work and hearing about it and then the long day waiting on more details as to what had really happened.
I was walking down Byres Rd the other day and began to wonder what it would be like if something happened right there and then -Everyone just going about their normal every day business. I couldn't begin to imagin how you could get your life back together after something like that.
So... does anyone have one of these really wee cheap FM scan radios I can have? the kind of thing you get free from Viking Direct or whatever. Jo at work is looking for one she can use when out walking - if you have headphones with it then even better!

Im thinking change Shevchenko for Ronaldinho? Have fallen out of love with Ronaldo because he failed to get me any points on Tuesday! I've not got many transfers left so this has to be my last lot before the next phase I think.
